Vivablast’s services review

My shipbuilding company has been in business relationship with Vivablast for almost 2 years, and so far we have had good experience. We find the services very satisfactory due to their superior quality, high productivity and high staff expertise. We are also preparing for the next contract with Vivablast as they really make us feel assured and pleased about their services quality and performance.
In this review, I will write about the services that our company has purchased from Vivablast and our comments.

HP/UHP water jetting
We must express big thanks to this service as we are guaranteed to have our ships properly cleaned and free from hazardous chemical waste and foreign debris. Vivablast applies state-of-the-art HP / UHP water jetting pumps and applies the correct specialized tooling, the exact pressure and volume to get the job done quickly and safely. The systems allow from 300bar to 2,500bar of pressure (4,300 to 36,250PSI), which has proven to be very effective for cleaning and paint removing. Our ships are fully refreshed as most types of foreign debris have been completely removed from them. In addition, the overall project time is also quite short. Furthermore, HP/UHP water jetting service of Vivablast can be implemented in all types of conditions regardless of their harshness or extremity.

Thermal spray coatings
Vivablast has delivered to us a high-quality thermally sprayed coating service – Thermal Sprayed Aluminium (TSA), which provides significant corrosion protection improvements and are particularly effective to protect our ships in marine from high or low temperatures and corrosive environments. This is a highly cost-effective and straightforward solution for adding superior properties and performance qualities to our ships that bear high risk of being damaged by sea water and extreme condition. Industrial flooring systems
Vivablast has done a good job of providing high-performance floor coatings, especially remedial works on worncracked floors. Our factory floors have stayed firm and been able to endure high weight as well as pressure. From my viewpoint, I give high credit to the Blastrac shot blasting method, which is dust-free and environmentally friendly for preparing concrete and steel surfaces. To our satisfaction, the worn cracked floors in our factories are completely well-repaired using the modern and advanced techniques of dust-free shot blasting and grinding. After being repaired, they become not only firm enough to endure high pressure but also look new again. We also really appreciate Vivablast’s focus on environment preservation and safety.

Spray on insulation
Being the certified exclusive SpreFix Contractor in Vietnam, Vivablast has successfully provided us with the best spray on insulation service that is stable even in bad weather conditions and is not affected by vibrations generated by ship engines or propellers. Many other industrial service providers still use the conventional techniques, which are quite costly but not really effecive, but Vivablast has been innovative by putting this new and effective technology into use, which results in cost-effectiveness, shorter execution time, excellent energy efficiency, easy repairs and changes to conduct satisfying insulation projects.

Hot, cold, accoustic insulation
Vivablast has proven their “specialist” title in the entire insulation process, from fabrication to installation, including project management. They can supply and install all types of insulation (rockwool, glasswool, calcium silicate, Armaflex,polyurethane foam), metal coverings and ancillaries depending on temperature requirements with great care and professionalism.The insulation engineers are able to proceed to the insulation material take-off and ensure that the works are done in compliance with job specifications, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. Their Tinsmiths and Insulators are able to fabricate, install, repair, remove and re-install all types of insulation systems. Moreover, we are impressed to know that their services, materials and equipments for insulation works are compliant with ASTM, EEMUA and BS international standards.
